I haven't had a problem, they seem to just have a ball tossing the shells and paper around. Cheesecloth may get caught on their little toes though...

There is a fourth there, it is floundering in the front as a blur. They were supposed to hatch today. early little chickies! 4/6 have hatched so far!

Thank you! Shame on them for hatching while I was asleep or busy, naughty little things! Last night when I posted that one had hatched, another hatched while I was posting! They were in a HURRY!

its almost 10am here and still no movement or chirping, i did set the egg late in the day, i think i set it around 5pm, so it may hatch later today or tonight

Nmarine it seems like that first one always takes their sweet time, I had a pip yesterday mid day and it didn't hatch until around 11 when I was in the shower. But once one is out and cheeping encouragement they all seem to follow and start popping out.

The chirping I'm hearing is very very faint I only herd one good one earlier

I can barely hear mine at all through the walls of the incubator, is your humidity nice and high? Peeping is a good sign that they are getting ready to start making a break for it.
