Got to say, Silver (p. 133) is a beautiful chickie.

Following up ... had kind of a crappy hatch ... all Silkies were two days dead in shell ... two Polish hatched, a White Crested Black and a Buff ... the Buff lived just one day. One Aracauna hatched vigorously ... one required assistance, and is still apparently comatose in the hatching incubator ... Ah well. Two healthy (so far) babies out of a bunch of shipped eggs ... I've done worse. I had to wash up the "healthy" Aracauna tonight ... s/he might have an intestinal issue like the only other healthy Aracauna I've been able to hatch, and that was last spring. I'll post pics once the babies get a couple more days under their belts ... sigh.

Have a bunch more Aracauna and like 10+ Egyptian Fayoumi due next week. Hope it's a better outcome.

lockdown starts on friday for me, thats 5 days away and i cant wait out of 18, 10 have made it so far and last time i candled them they were moving like no tomorrow. oh the waiting for them to hatch is going to torture me!!! this is my first incabation after all lol

I set 50 buff orpingtons and 3 blue cochin bantam eggs 10/16. I can hardly wait till they start hatching!
