Omg I googled coal layer and clicked their page, I just don’t have words (or maybe enough words).

The photo is in black and white. The description stops after 1 sentence and says it’s a place holder until the genetics team figure it out. Then there’s one review that reads like an ad written for the place, and the reviewer says they keep all 80+ bantams on one layer of a hatching time cage.

Just took a look at their website. All the pics are from the internet. Their prices on their 'rare quail' are ridiculous! Too high on some, not enough money for others that should be higher priced! Example of over priced is the Harlequin quail, under priced, Mearns.

Since they are supposedly getting them from Central America, Belize, and Mexico...I'm wondering if they could get Blackthroated Bobwhites? I've raised all of those, except Mearns and Blackthroated Bobwhites.

Well it worked they are sending me eggs they are waiting on me to tell them when i want the eggs either rushed or on a date i want which i want it on a date cuz im getting some button eggs in nov lol but im waiting for a date on that too XD

If I remember correctly, they never received the eggs.

So I was a total Dumb*** started off ordering the rare eggs before Christmas 2020 had one hatch a Jumbo white. Wow so rare lol. Then I had ordered the Q-E room rare eggs received a box of eggs with garbage bags and a battery next to the eggs, couple eggs smashed. Contacted Quail empire they said theyd immediately send replacements. 3wks later still waiting for them. The first Q-E 2 hatched, they are just jumbo wilds nothing special. Finally talked to corporate her was sending out the Q-E replacements and then overnighting my other orders.They had a sale going on after Christmas for almost 50% off so what do I do order the "new lines". Homestead bundle. Rare breeders box, bobwhites,celadons, coal layers, hpf Pharaoh, pastel, and empire. So thats like over $300. They said they shipped my orders without tracking numbers Like wtf how. Then ended up getting only the Pharaoh, pastel and empire when they said the other orders shipped obviously not. So I recieved the cheaper eggs. And the lousy misspelled note, telling me things were backordered when they are really in stock. They sent blue "incubator trays" ummm okay that won't fit and they were dirty.Im still pissed. I told them they sent the wrong items.I went thru BBB and did a complaint and reviews. If I had enough for a lawyer I would sue. All they wrote back on BBB was that they told me over 55 times Id be getting a refund. Its been more than 30 days still no refund. And dont trust William from corporate who says he'll make things right, he never did. Also some lady named Rebecca who is manager of CS is full of crap.They even told me they fired Ally who was telling me the whole time my orders were all shipping out, she still works there even though William from corporate said they fired her. Its all lies. Someone needs to stop them. So many people are getting screwed, how is this allowed. I have so many emails saved and pictures from everything I received.

I hope you updated your bbb complaint to indicate that it’s March and still no refund! Frickin scammers! You won’t get any rare birds from them because they don’t exist in their flock. I contacted more than once to see photos of their red eggs and coal eggs. No photos of reds at all every provided, and the coal eggs are photos in black and white. They are clearly regular spotted eggs shown in b&w. Just pure scammers. I’m glad you contacted the bbb so others can research them. Their bbb response is just more evidence that they’re just scammers, real business replies don’t exaggerate and attack the buyer. Contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. I’ve worked in retail and a bs response like they sent to the bbb is not enough to dispute a claim with the card company, your card dispute will receive an unsatisfactory response and they will cancel payment.

I knew this guy was a scammer from the beginning. He claimed to have a "Cairo line" of Japanese quail imported from Egypt that reach 20oz on his Youtube videos. I kept asking him for proof, but he never showed anything. His website and business are now defunct. I'm willing to bet he was never NPIP certified either. Bob Wolchek should do a story on this guy and put him into the "hall of shame". I hope the local authorities get him for fraud / larceny too.
