Hatch Problem—advice please?

Go ahead and pull its head out. When you touch it, try to see if it feels warm or cold. If it fees cold I suggest trying to warm it up. To warm them up, I put a small hand towel in the microwave and heat it up, then wrap the chick and egg in it.

Guide to Assisted Hatching for All Poultry​

Did this one make that all of that hole? If it did, I suspect it's stuck and needs assistance. Follow the instruction in the article.



This one probably needs another 12-24 hours.

The good news is that the second one has hatched. It’s one of six BCM hatching eggs shipped to me. The rest didn’t do anything; this is the only one that hatched. I’m naming it Miracle . I actually was able to capture the hatch on video. It was pretty exciting .
