I am incubating Guinea Keets. Here is the breakdown:
Day 25 (temp this morning was 102!)
7 Eggs: 5 look to have internal peeps (based on pics I have seen, I have no experience - 1st time incubation)
1 - has crack (not peep, crack in straight line) with movement of chick inside
1 - has crack with no movement inside and looks like a blood in one spot

So my question is, do I lock down today? I was planning on lock down tomorrow but now I am not sure?

Early on Day 25 is when I lock down, But I never have 102 temp which would cause then to hatch early. BUT for "ME" if they were hatching early "I" sure would not be candling them etc---I would have Quickly remove the turner and up the humidity and leave them alone and Lower that temp a little---according to the type incubator, and the location of where your thermometer is.

So before I rec'd your answer about lock down today, I had to leave and am just getting back to eggs now to find 1 starting to hatch. Temp is 99.5 and humidity is 61%. Should I open lid quickly, add more water and sponge or don't open at all? So frustrated that I didn't have time to do the lockdown 1st like I planned

If you do not have a turner turning---"I" would leave them alone and add water with a straw/hose and a injector needle.

I say "I" because I know so many say you can open at will, etc, But even the Best trained that Open---does it at what they feel is the right time. I do not open and I have a very high hatch rate---even with a good Styrofoam incubator. I never have to take tweezers to help one hatch a little, etc, etc. But, some on here Love to play/help them hatch----again I am NOT a hands On Hatcher with No plans to change that----my hatch rate has been to high to start "playing" with them now----Might mess things up---LOL. You Do What you feel you need/want to do!!

Thanks for the help. I will not open, unplugged the turner and will add water with a straw. Fingers crossed, my husband was so kind to surprise me with a broody box he just built and I really want to use it! lol

Good!! Start out right. Make sure the brooder box is heated just on one end and around 95 degree's the first few days, then lower it a few degree's each week. Put food and water on the other(unheated) end----so many people heat the whole box and many of them kill their chicks and not mean to. Good Luck!
