Hatch with me! Placed in bator on 5-13-2010. First hatch!

Well it looks like my second hatch might be a full zero. One has pipped but doesn't look like he'll zip, no action from any of the others. I'll give it another day before pulling the plug.

Woke up to one chick and another pip this morning but the first pip still nada

The one that is out is a barred olive egger.

Two chickies! And four pips!

after talking to the breeder of the barred olive eggers I have a roo and a pullet so far! Ah the joys of sexable breeds.

Four chicks and three pips! I have 1 EE, 2 barred olive eggers and one black crested polish out so far! so very glad that polish hatched, that egg was so curious of the light every time if would candled! Cant wait to see what color of EE I have! It is yellow and black with lots of eye liner.

I have another batch of eggs from 'back order' coming in tomorrow, cant wait for those. They are 'large spotted egg' welsumers and some black/blue ameraucanas.

I also ordered some chicks from Ideal, expected tomorrow moring (well today, 6-10-10, depending on how you look at it) Not really sure what I ordered really

guess I'll see, I know I'm getting come red, white, buff cochins after that I dont really know. I ordered a 'mix' pullet! So anyone that knows there breeds will be needed. I'll post pics as soon as possible! Unless hubby murders me!

ONE OF MY TWO EGGS IS HATCHING! It has a large pip, is peeping and is trying to zip! And it was the questionable egg of the two!! I might even get both of them to hatch!

These are definately fighters, being the only two eggs to make it out of 15!!
