Glad you could join the flock! Chicks don't need water in the incubator. They are fine to stay in the incubator for upto 72 hours after hatching without water. They survive on the yolk sac that they have absorbed during the hatching process. I usually move mine to the brooder when hatch is complete which is usually 24 hours give or take a few hours after the first one has hatched.
Once in the brooder they should have food and water available at all times. Gently dipping their beaks in the water encourages them to start drinking. Also tapping your finger in the food as mother hen would do to show them where food is really helps too.
