Hatched my first Turkey

The Narragansette turkeys I took care of at the fall festival laid eggs about the size of a duck egg. They were bigger than chicken eggs but not much. I was surprised!

oh, hurry with pics! i love turkey poults, they are the cutest. i was sad when mine 'grew up'!

they are really sweet babies, and very curious.

Tried putting my baby turkey with baby chicks well that was a lost cause, they start pecking at turkey...they were week old..the chicks,maybe I will try just one chick like you said...

As we like to say around here "everybody loves a turkey" ! Just one chick should work better, turkeys do better with others. Like others said just make sure it's eating and drinking. Also, I don't know if anybody told you but poults need a higher protien feed than chickens, we use a 28% game bird starter. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask us.
