Hatched!!!! Omg, 3 So Far!!!

Ok, so Ive had a momma thats been broody...and every day Ive left 7 eggs under her, and I penciled them with numbers, if there is an extras I pull them...only leaving the 7, well I counted and said ok by the 17th something should happen....Well this morning I went out to do the same, move her and check eggs...she gets up then and goes to feed/water.

Well today she wanted t peck me!!! hmmmmm, so I moved her and she fought, and then I HEARD NOISE!!! A pip!!!, and this cutess yellow baby was there and a blue shell busted open...wooo hooo, got my camera running across the yard like a mad woman...yelling to honey!!!! so grab camera, daug runs out with me and Dh...and then daugs says MOM!!! There's 2 more! I have so far "3" babies!!!!! and 4 eggs to go!

First one found, out of a blue egg shell

2nd one found, from a brown egg

and this one is mainly yellow but has a reddish face, and shoulder area and alittle on the upper back

I need 4 more to hatch out of the 7 I left her with...and they are all ee eggs, and one dark egg left....Im afraid they will follow out of the nest!!!! and worry about that.

I have three too. I ran to put eggs on for the mama's. I take camra out ther now.

I am right there with you! My mama's got 3 and they are pipping right now. I just heard the sweet sound of chirping too!

Ok so an hour later my daug goes out to check the mail all the way in the street, we live on 4 acres and my coops are in back, she comes in and say "mom I think something is wrong I hear a baby crying". There is no way! So I go out to the back and sure enough...out of the nest box, out of the coop and in the 10x8 run is a chick!! And mama is standing ny it and the other two are in the nest. So I go to grab it and they go under the main coop where I can't reach them. So another later grabbed mama n baby n now I have them on the floor of the main coop hoping they won't fall out of my main coop into the run again!!
