I’m with @Nabiki , put it down is what I would do. There are reason chicks don’t hatch or need help hatching. Which is good reason not to assist.

I had exactly the same problem. I made that splint and put it inside after wrapping the toes and then wrapping it all together with paper wrap ( she lost some feathers) so she would keep the legs in the right position. The splint helped her stand so she could eat and drink. the "sides" helped from falling on one side. I was feeding her with nutritional yeast in water and moving her around so the poop wouldn't stack. She moves relatively fine now but she is often bullied and her legs are not strong. I don't know if she is in pain when the weather changes and I wouldn't do it again. But she was so determined to live I couldn't let her starve. I think she is 9 months old now.
Sorry for my late response. Different hour zone. I think it took 2 weeks in the splint and more with tape around the toes because they were really curly.Thank you so much for your reply!! May I ask how long it took her to recover? Also do you know if she had neurological issue or just leg issue?
It has been nerve wracking serving our chick. But like I said, the poor thing eats so well and it is getting stronger enough to escape itself from the tape. We have to do a better taping job every day. For the first few days only liked to eat boiled egg yolk but now it started eating regular food so hopefully that is also a good sign.
