*Hatched w/ pix!!* Set eggs 10/16

Thanks for those links VOX.
Tomorrow the chicken eggs go into lockdown, I got an automatic turner for the two duck eggs until the chicks are done hatching. I put them pointy side down in it, right? One of the air cells on a chicken egg isn't on the end of the egg like all the rest, it's on the side some like it slipped sideways or something. Will this chick hatch okay or will I need to do something special? Thanks y'all, it's gettng harder and harder to wait, the last two nights I've been dreaming they were all hatched

All 5 of the chicken eggs hatched out, unfortunately one drowned in the waterer but I still have 4 to enjoy. Tomorrow the two duck eggs go into lockdown. They both have really large air cells, it almost takes up half the egg in one of them. Is this okay? I'm thinking I didn't have enough humidity or something but am keeping all the water spots full until hatch now. I'm excited, my waiting is almost over and I will have little fluffy ducklings to cuddle soon. Here are a couple pix of the chicks to hold yall off till I can get duckling pictures.
I showed this picture to a friend and she asked if they were all chicks or if the one in the middle was a duck

I have a pip in one if the duck eggs today!!! Isn't it early? Anyway soon I will have ducklings and that mean pictures for y'all. I hope both eggs hatch without any problems.

The other egg pipped last night, they are both moving off and on and I hear their little cheeps. I know duck eggs take longer from pip to zip but how long till they start zipping? Really how long till I have to start worrying lol? It's easier to wait now that I have the chicks to play with but I'm still ready for the ducklings to be out.

One is hatched!!!!!!!

he came out around 5:15 today and is all spikey lol. I didn't expect all the down to be standing on end, it was slicked down on the chicks. I also thought it interesting about the differance in the zip he made as to how the chicks looked, I guess different beak/bill shapes. He is to adorable and I can't wait for the other one to join him. The other one has made a few little pips around it's first pip but looks like he is going to sleep tonight and hatch early in the morning. It was really cool when the egg hatched because we all got to see it. I had to go somewhere 30 minutes after he hatched and got home late so no pictures tonight. As soon as they are boh out the incubator and I can take proper pictures y'all shall have them.
I need to think up some names, I want to call the hatched one Spike but if it turns out to be a girl it wouldn't seem right. I'm really hopeing for a drake and a duck because I only have 2 ducks right now. I want to have my own fertilized eggs for the spring and then I don't have to get eggs from my neighbor and can hatch all the time
