I hatched a chick for the first time in an incubator...let her sit in the warm incubator for 24 hours, then transferred her to my bathtub with heat light and food and water. 9 more eggs are waiting. Meanwhile, the little fluffball seems VERY attached to me. When I am in site, she is super happy. When I step out of site, she freaks out and is super loud. I can't sleep....help!!! Could her space be too big and she is nervous?

Nope, she just thinks she needs company. A lone chick in the wild is a dead chick, so she calls for you like she would call for her mother or her other siblings. Once you get another one out and in with her, she'll quiet down some. Until then, you'll have a little chickie demanding your presence. You could try giving her a stuffed animal or a mirror or a feather duster to hide under in the meantime :)

Excellent...THANKS! Just saved my nights sleep. I just felt so bad for her! Also, I kinda wanted to think she loves me... haha
