I'm driving down to visit Cackle next week and check it out. Hope I don't come home with more chickies

Try to find a good hatchery close to your area it may help reduce most problems you have with shipped birds. Just an idea.

EE always gave away before lay they were crazy!
BO (last year because I was hatching some & wanted to mix strains) all died at different times
Silkies (that was when I got hooked) but, there's all died within year!
Polish (2 years in a row) all died within first year!

[edit] I have a good friend who swears by Mt Healthy, I can recommend them because of that, he’s a very common sense person who’s opinions I respect.
