Hatcheries with welsh harlequins?

How far are you willing to travel? I have show birds. I have a drake that has won many awards at both county and state 2 years running. Best of breed, best light duck best of class, and this year he also took reserve grand champion of the show. I kept one of his sons and he is also showing well.
His mother laid 348 eggs a year, and his offspring has laid 292 so far... But, I'm in Florida.

Willing to sell for $70 or $55 for his son. (Will only sell one)

Ooh wow! I would love to buy but as of right now I can't spend that much on a drake. Once I've started up and begun showing myself I would love to buy ducks from your lines! Those are fantastic numbers!

I think I'm going with hatching eggs, it would be easier than keeping a drake with no hens and waiting to hatch some out. I definitely want a good drake though so after I hatch eggs if I don't have an awesome drake I'll be looking for one.

@Michael P do you have pictures of your hens?

Hello! New to BYC, I desperately want more welshies but don't know where to get any. I already have four from a local breeder but I'm pretty sure her stock is from metzer. I DO NOT want to order from cackle, metzer, myer, or murray mcmurray. My reasons being that their info pages state that welsh harlequins lay 100-150 eggs per year but I want mine to do much better, also a lot of their stock has yellow billed girls (I already have one😒). Anyone know of breeders in texas or good hatcheries to order from?
this is an old thread, but are you still looking? I just found a clutch my Welshie had squirreled away. I'm goign to goahead and let her keep brooding. I'm in East Texas if that helps.

I may consider since my welshie Drake has only three hens atm, and he's being a bit too rough.
Do you have pics of the parents?

That is all the same drake. I only keep one drake. The girls had yellow bills and got darker as the grew up. The single girl in photo is 3 and the other girls are 1 One did originally have one that kept her orange feet but none of the recent generation have that. I’m not sure how duck genetics work on leg and bill color.
