Hatchery/Breed

I actually took the chance and ordered them from our local farm and fleet.

I got 5 white rocks and 5 New Hampshire reds for a whopping total of $15. They come from a hatchery around 2 hours south of us and have a 10 day 'return' policy.

I would have like to only have to order 5-6 birds and gotten a few of the exotics but after talking with my vet he said to stick w/ these two breeds for my first chickens and then add an exotic or two as we go along.

Here you go. I ordered from Hoovers Hatchery and they are very good quality for $1.75 pullets! My order cost $99.75 for 52 baby chickens. 44 pullets and 8 rooster. I ordered all of the 8 roosters so i paid for them but they sent me 2 extra EE chickens Hens($2.06), 1 extra Production Red Pullet, and 2 extra Black Australorp Pullets. I am very happy that they didn't send me roosters but what I juts ordered and the free extra ones were all pullets! They are real friendly people and I would recomend them to anyone wanting egg layers. Heres what they have

White Leghorns
California Whites
Black Australorps
Barred Rocks
Black Sex Links
Red sex Links
Buff Orpingtons
Production Reds
Silver Laced Wyandotttes
Ameracacunas
White Rocks
And they also ave bantam assortments

Very good people and chicks! And I would recommend the Sex Links(anyone) and the White Leghorns for white egg layers and the Buff Is a good mom. Thank you and good Luck
