Hatchery chicks

Ms. Lewis Rich :

A few years back deodrant was sprayed in the same room with brooding chicks and they went over in seconds, Be careful of any kind of spraying.

I had never heard that but it makes sense, probably smothered them....

But no, we don't use anything aerosol here, oldest ds is asthmatic.

I appreciate your trying to help

I've had it for about a month now. It's been in an air tight container too. The only vitamins I have right now is the Polyvisol. Would that be okay to give them? I can go to the farm store later when they open if not. What kind do I ask them for?

Glad yours are doing better. I kept up with the thread but hadn't looked since all this stuff started.

The Poly-vi-sol is perfect as long as it's iron free. You can add it to their water or give it directly by mouth. If by mouth, it's 3 drops in the mouth/beak once a day for a week. I will have to check on the water dosage.
