Hatchery or Breeders

I see soo many ads where people are saying in big caps NOT HATCHERY BIRDS..

Just curious why most people don't want hatchery birds...am I missing something?

I just raise them for the joy of hatching and of course fresh eggs and the chickens personalities so I am stumped at this.

Then hatchery stock or hatchery stock sold at a local feed store is just fine for you.

The day may come, however, when you want birds of high quality, bred to standard for showing, breeding or pleasure. When and if that day ever comes? You'll be talking to breeders.
