I have been thinking about getting some Salmon Faverolles recently and I've read a few threads about them. Some people say that some of the hatchery birds don't have the five toes, beards, and muffs. Does anybody know if the chicks sold from Meyer Hatchery stay true to their breed or not? It's the only hatchery I can find that has a minimum of three chicks and currently has females available.

. My RIRs will jump the big fence every now and then and it's a pain to carry them all the way back. Especially if there's more than one. I don't know exactly how tall it is but it's probably 4 or 4 1/2 feet.
