This chick came from the pulley bin from a feed store. Are sapphire Gems still sexed

Agreed, if it's a Sapphire Gem it's likely male. If it's an Olive Egger, it could be either gender, because both males and females can be barred.at

at what age would I know?
 
These two chicks are Saphire Gems from a hatchery. Because I do not see a white spot they should be pullets, correct?
