Hatchery silkies

How long does it usually take a silkie from a hatchery to lay/mature?Mine are at 27 weeks.

I hatched my silkies from eggs, and it took them 6 months before they started to lay. It seems silkies mature slower than other chickens.

I appriciate the reply ,but i cant be the only person on with hatchery silkies.

I have hatchery Silkies. They started laying around 5 1/2 months. I got them the beginning of September and they started mid-February.

Maybe its just because i have buff silkies,I just cant believe it has taken this long for them to lay an egg.They get a egg layer feed and have all the right facilities.
