Ive also bought 25 pullet chicks from cackle plus the 5 I wanted and sold the 25 on facebook and craigslist, had the buyers lined up ahead of time. If I recall it was 10 sexed jersey giants and 15 phoenix hatchery choice. The chicks I sold covered the entire cost and my bantam phoenix were for free lol.

When I was planning this year's orders I went through the entire calculation for the numbers and breeds I wanted for different hatcheries.

Depending on what you order and how many exactly different hatcheries come up best.

I agree with finding a local feed store can get sexed pullets from them too and if you call ahead of the season you might can get them to order the specific ones you want if you pay up front. My local feed store has always ordered what we want if you pay in advance

Tractor supply has chicks but Idk if they do custom orders, I believe you might can custom order through their website to get them shipped to a store near you, but I was reffering to moreso of a faniky owned local feed store

@AmericanaHank Sorry I don't remember for sure what i paid. I see where it says free shipping on 2021 orders but I'm not sure if that includes the small or extra small orders. https://www.metzerfarms.com/minimum-orders.html Here's the link to the info on small and extra small orders. My ducks arrived healthy and on time. What are you looking into ordering? All we have here is murdochs and they only do straight run on ducks so it worked well for me to order through metzer.

I was thinking of getting 2 geese(gander and goose) and some ducks i don't know what breed yet maybe some cayuges my old one (Howard) died last August.
