I was trying to get a good shot of the legs. They look slate/green in the shade. I've got 2 of these. Single comb. The below pics are from 2 weeks.

Look like a hatchery hybrid due to leg color. What color are the bottom of the feet? Can you get close up of legs in natural light?

Both picks are natural light. The 2 week old is in outside daylight shade, the 4 week old is in sunlight shining through the doorway of the coop

Taking pics of 4 1/2 week old chicks by yourself....DIFFICULT! These are the 2 yellow, single comb birds

It kind of looks like a small crest developing on the older one? Am I seeing correctly?

I think it's just the wind...now I have to go look.

Was just asking cuz McMurray has a hybrid called a White Sapphire that is mainly white with a small crest! Though it appears in the pics they have that the legs are pretty yellow.
