Hatching 🐣 time!! If anyone would like to follow along 😁

Woke up to a nice surprise #17 hatched I'm sad I lost the twin egg. But for my 1st time ever incubating eggs I feel very successful.

March 4th my Ermine Ameraucana will be hatching. I don't feel I'll have much success with them. Out of 13 I've already tossed 5. Shipping really messed up the 2nd order. I ordered 6 from 2 different seller on eBay. The 6 from Alabama came fast and in decent shape. The 6 from Texas sat for 4 days in Texas took 6 total days to get to me absolutely scramble I only have 1 left from those that's forming. If I get 1 to hatch from those I'll be happy.

Figured I would just continue on this post. So I'm at it again lol This time we have Cochin eggs We are on day 20 and 4 have pips. They are a mix of colors so I'm so excited to see what I got. Order off eBay. Put 7 in 6 made it to lockdown. One has a very bad air sack placement. You can see the pencil circle it's on the side of the egg so i don't know how that hatch will go, or if I should help it. But I'm super excited!!

5 babies this morning only one left to hatch and that's the one that's air sack was on the side. Hope that ones make it.

Unfortunately I lost the little baby with the bad air sac placement. RIP little baby. 5 hatched of 7 eggs that's pretty good for shipped eggs.

Do you have any vitamin E capsules? If you puncture them with a needle you can squeeze the gel out into the chick's mouth. It won't get better without help, I'd try to do something ASAP. You can give b complex or a vitamin mix in the water too. I try to give something with both vitamin E and selenium in it.
