Hatching 🐣 time!! If anyone would like to follow along 😁

ugh i wish we could hatch our own chicks at home but the risk of getting males is to high, i would hate to have to give them away to a new home and not know how they are being treated :(
That's definitely the down side to hatching at home. I'm praying I have better luck with chickens than I do with ducks. I let my duck hatch 5 eggs this past spring and they turned out to be all boys šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø This is my 1st time using an incubator and hatching chicken's. I bought all my chickens last spring from a hatchery and TSC. So now im addicted and that's what has led me to today lol

I loved hatching eggs, but out of the six that hatched 5 were male. I wanted to do the Brazilian chickens that grow too around 3 1/2 ft tall but my wife nixed that plan.

I'm so amazed with the Salmon Faverolle. Only two left to hatch. I ordered 6 they sent me 7. I only had to toss the extra egg it was smaller than the rest and never formed but the other 6 are all about to hatch 😲 for shipped eggs I never except that.
