My class this year is studying life science, so I thought it would be cool to bring in chicken eggs to hatch. I have a styrofoam still air incubator that I haven't used for years. I turn the eggs three times a day. I am away for most of the weekends, so my teacher comes in on Saturdays and turns them once, but not on Sundays. My question is, since they are only turned once on the weekends, will it affect anything important, like development and how many will actually hatch?

That is so CUTE! I wish my teachers would do something like that! What kind of chickens are they?

As for the incubator thing, I haven't ever hatched chickens so I wouldn't know, but I would assume that it would effect the eggs because one side will probably get to hot.

Good luck!
