Eggs need to go into lockdown at a specific day, that is when they are no longer turned allowing the chick to go into the hatching position. What are you hatching?

If you never turn the eggs at all, some of them will probably hatch but some will not.

If you do turn the eggs for the first part of incubation, more of them will probably hatch.

If you miss a few turnings here and there, it will not have a very big effect.

When it is almost time for the eggs to hatch (about 3 days left), you should quit turning the eggs.
