nope not addicted at all I only have one bator running and it only has 56 eggs in it..... lol

This little hen saw the babies I hatched out on the 26th, then got broody, she would have mom'ed the other babies, but I didn't have the set up ready.

I moved my hen and her 4 little eggs into a cabinet with a door, no more hens bugging her, and I will let her out in the morning till her eggs hatch, then I have a private pen for her.

I had given my broody 4 eggs a few days ago, I removed one at day 3 for no activity, (a white one) when I cracked it open it did have activity but was way behind normal, I am guessing day 2. Probably because it was hatching in an out door coop. I left her the other 3 but she keep kicking out the tan egg this went on for a couple of days, I tried to put it back. I cracked it open as well, that one had no activity, maybe the broody knew.
so the hen now has 2 eggs. My other hens laid 5 eggs this morning before 8am so I took another white, one BCM and one frizzle for the incubator. Just want to see if the other eggs are developing slower if these can catch up.

I gave away my roosters and these ended up not fertile. I have some young LO roosters so maybe in the spring.

So I pulled one blood ring out of the bator .... so I had to put another one in.... ok so it was only to keep the turkey company, my friend that gave me eggs to put in the bator didn't realize that two of them were turkey so they got set at the same time as Mt chicken eggs for Christmas. Except only one of them looks like it is progressing. So that's where the extera chicken egg comes in lol
