This hen that is my avatar "Greyslyn" Some of you may remember, I gave her to a friend, She must be around 8, she is known for her grey eggs. She laid 2 eggs a few days ago and this may be my last chance to hatch her eggs. She has never been much of a layer, and I have hatched chicks from her before. The rooster is handsome and blond-cream color, with a dark green vest that has white spots on the vest. (EE rooster I believe.) Below are her eggs.
I thought this was an interesting post to make since my hen is old, I know not everyone will "approve" of me trying to hatch her eggs. But I don't always give up just because there are "Debby-downers" out there.
I would want to try to hatch some of hers as well.
