hatching and fathers

I have a silkie sitting on 3 eggs, and the silkie roo she grew up with. Can they both be together when she hatches the chicks?

I've heard some have success with silkie dads and other who don't. The only thing you can do is watch closely and see how he reacts to the babies. Good luck.
