O.K.., I understand from what I have read that the humidity goes up after chicks starts to hatch.
My first hatched over 24 hours ago.....about 10 more since then.
Presently have 4 zipping anf at least two more pipped.
I have left the chicks in the incubator.
I am concerned about the ones not hatched and .and do not understand why 65% humidity for lockdown.
Then it goes wild from hatching.
Question..is this having an adverse affect on the ones still trying to hatch?

It fust does not make sense to me.
Thanks

Don't open the bator until the first ones that hatched are 24 hours old.

The others will be fine.

After the first one is 24 hours old, QUICKLY remove all of the live ones that are no longer wet.

Check your humidity after about 5 minutes. If it has gone below 65%, add some water or a wet paper towel.

Good luck.
