I would raise them in trios. They wouldn't fight as much, but they like to be with more birds. Don't ever put vitamins in their water or feed them medicated feed. What feed do you use right now?

Fleet Farms Sprout Meat maker and cracked corn.

Sounds good. I fed mine a gamebird layer ration mixed with a little bit of scratch. What do you feed the chicks?

Meat Maker mixed with Manna Pro Gamebird Starter. (we do not eat them

)

Manna Pro is a little pricey. If you can I would see if you can you get purina or southern states where you live.

We have not been able to find that. we used to feed chicks medicated, but I learned after they all died. Manna pro is only $5 here.

Five dollars for five pounds? That is a lot of money. I pay 50 cents per pound.
