I'm not sure if eagles are considered "fowl", let alone ornamental ones, but I'm not sure where this should go. If anyone has a better idea of where this topic would fit, I have no problem if you red-flag this and ask a moderator to move this thread
I just saw this on the news & thought I would share in case anyone is interested. They've placed a 24 hr live webcam on a bald eagle nest, the eagles had 2 eggs, one has already hatched, and the other should hatch before Friday (1/4/13), that's according to the news... but what do they know?
Here is the link to the streaming video http://www.ustream.tv/SouthwestFloridaEagleCam
(its really relaxing if you're having a hectic day)
and here is the link to the news segment, http://www.winknews.com/Local-Florida/2013-01-02/World-watches-as-North-Fort-Myers-eagle-hatches
One of the anchors said that the male eagle showed up with a stick while the female was feeding the baby eagle, and she apparently gave him the stick eye, as if to say, really? another one? I guess chickens aren't the only ones that give that look
**EDITED TO ADD: "Second egg hatched on January 3, 2013 at 9:49 pm", and they're camera is still streaming a live feed.
