Hatching bantoms

I hatched a bantom about 12 hours ago he's fine, his name is socks

But I have another bantom that hatched about 2 hours ago but has been attached by 2 veins and he's been pulling his entire egg about for the past 2 hours and he seems very distressed, I am right in thinking he'll eventually absorb them and detach from the egg right? (this didn't happen with socks)

Dont mess with the veins. If you tried to cut them the chick could bleed out. Just let them be and they will detach.

Thats what I thought, its been about 8 hours now, he's still attached
