Is there anything we should do differently for the broody as we get close. I take mine off the nest twice a day, do I continue to do that until the 20th day or? I'm on day 15 now. Still think I have 3 out of 5 eggs, but too afraid to throw out the ones I think are duds. Glad I numbered the eggs.

The new flock actually have better type than the old flock - more birchen marking on the hens and brighter silver on the roosters. I love this breed but they do need a lot of work to get back to what they should be!
