My ducks look fabulous so far. My son and I candled them yesterday and they are just a dancing about in the eggs! He thought it was really cool, we even saw a good foot shot, lol. I so hope they all make it. It got really hot today, no a/c so the bater went up a degree for a little bit but hopefully they will all be ok anyhow.

Sounds like you have some lively ducks in your future.
I just went into lockdown today and we are finally getting some much needed rain.

Glad you are getting some rain. We have had quite a bit of moisture this year compared to others and are flooding in some areas. It seems we skipped spring though and went from winter to summer, lol.

Yeah the weather this year has been insane. Depending on the part of country you live at you are either being frozen, blown away, drowned, or roasted.

My yard has been turning brown from the grass drying out. We mainly just been watering the gardern. I have a feeling my area is gonna have a really hot summer this year. The eggs will be cooked before we can even collect them.

2/3 of the way through!

I think Molly is starting to get restless. Today I went in to fill the girls' food and she hopped off the nest ready for a break. I didn't give her a break yesterday, so that's understandable. She was hungry and really wanted a dust bath! After I put her back she wouldn't go sit on the nest while I was in there so I left, but when I came back an hour later she was setting again

Day 14 and one more week to go! I'm nervous/excited but trying not to get my hopes up because there are only two eggs left.

Thanks, fingers crossed

In other news, tomorrow I'm picking up a pair of silkie chicks and my bantam cochins who are being incubated hatch this weekend! I'm so excited to have chicks in the house again

I'm a little late to join you with the hatch-a-long but I have 33 chick eggs set to hatch on the 17th too. I'm extra nervous about this bunch, because about a dozen of them are from my flock of Iowa Blues that were killed by dogs

Also have 12 turkey eggs in there too and 1/2 will be from a hen I lost as well. I'm really hoping for a good legacy hatch!
Good luck to everybody!
