hatching chick help please

this is one of the last of my chicks to hatch it is half in still covered in membrane one of the other chicks jumped on the egg where it had a big pip in and the shell just gave way. What can I do to help

Admittedly I've never hatched chicks before,

but the membrane won't hurt it so I don't see any harm in leaving it as it is. You might give it a little help after a little while if it can't get it off by itself, though.

I know it sounds tough, but I have come to the hard conclusion to not help any more chicks. The last 2 I helped outta the eggs were not strong enough to survive and died soon after. I remember someone else saying if the chick is not strong enough to get out of the egg then it is just not meant to be.
