Hello I'm from Texas, and was wondering if Texas has a limit on how many chicks you can hatch from your house? I get my hatching eggs from NPIP certified farms. Would I still have to be certified in any way for me to sell and hatch chicks if they come from farms that provide the hatching eggs, and are regularly checked by the state, and are NPIP certified?

That is a subject that would be best handled on your state thread. Just put "Texas" in the search box, and it will come up. If you are going to sell eggs to stores, restaurants, etc. I'm sure you would need to have some type of inspection and maybe permit or license. If you just mean selling eggs or chicks. to neighbors I don't believe that is regulated.

If you plan to ship numbers of chicks around the country you will most likely need NPIP certification to do so.
