I have hatched eggs before but everything went smooth... I have an egg that was supposed to hatch yesterday and has not started to peep or anything... how long do you guys usually let your eggs stay in the bator? and I also have some button quail that are going to start hatching tommorrow or the next day ... and what about those how long do you guys leave them in also? and a while ago I found a picture of the whole chicken growing in the egg process and have also heard that you can see there beak in the air sac when they are going to start hatching is that true??

Thank you

They can hatch up to 5-6 days late. Cooler temps during incubation will slow down development

causing late hatches. Yes, you will see the beak in the air cell, about the size of a pin point. You

Do not need to be handling, and candling eggs after the 18 day though, unless your goint

to throw them out.
