Hatching Chicks? Needing ADVISE ASAP!

Erijn 5, A difficult time for sure. I've not had the pleasure or despair of the hatching experience. You are one of the very few that I have read here on BYC with remarkably high rate of hatch 97%. So it's not your technique, perhaps its the shipped eggs or there is an unknown prob with the incubator itself due to age. I'm betting it's the eggs--due to shipping or such.

Just candled the other bator 17 out of 25 were good...they were just ah' jumping around they are not due until Fri. I hope I have better luck with those, it is a Hovabator but with a fan...they are still on the turners so I moved them around just for principle..

Arielle: I hope that was the case..Yes that bator has been the best $100 I ever spent, unless they were clear eggs, I kid u not they hatched...That is why I put the best eggs in there, I guess next yr, I will divide them up equally into 2 bators...although I have never done that before...I guess with everything else in life, everything is 50/50...

Bator 1 with the current problem children is a Still Air....Bator 2 are eggs that are due to hatch on Fri. it has the fan in it..

Bator 1 is the one I'm having trouble with..
