I add my voice to those who are telling you not to blame yourself for the results of this experimental hatch. So many things can go wrong when incubating; as much as we want to say we're in total control of an incubation, that sadly isn't the case. Not even broody hens are successful at getting a 100% hatch rate in their eggs, so it's no surprise we humans also fail at it.
Look on the bright side of things: You might have lost your incubated eggs, but you gained valuable knowledge from this experiment. Wisdom is always important to have when you try something, and if you don't have it when you start, you gain it as you grow. There's only so much you can learn from school and books, so it's nice to explore unchecked possibilities and see what they offer
