I do think putting it in an enclosed area will help since hens sit on their eggs and keep a consistent temp on all part of the egg not just the bottom or top.

Day 25 (chicken incubation, 23 days)- Well nothing is happening yet, I'm kind of am scared if they don't hatch. I kind of don't want to open up the eggs and if I don't, when I bury them, in my head would be me thinking that I buried them alive and like I say, fingers crossed.
Edit- The air cell on #1 is completely gone, I don't know where it went. Logically it had to go somewhere. Is my baby truly gone?

You should be very careful. From what I learned from my mistake is, prop it a bit sideways and always leave the big part of the egg upwards. Also hopefully you are going to use thermometer and keep a eye on it, trust me, you do not want to make homemade balut. And well, I hope that it goes ok for you!

Haha it already failed. The cardboard egg carton got wet so I took the eggs out and put them in my Magicfly.

Maybe you could try a styrofoam carton with hole in it.
