HATCHING DATE 7th - 8th JUNE!!!! HATCHING BUDDIE ANYONE!!

So they started to pip on the 4th in the morning. This morning at 5 AM while I was going to the restroom I decided to check on them and the first was out. Since then 5 more have hatched today. and 4 others have piped. So nine out of 25 for our first hatch ever isnt bad. But we havent given up on the others we know they could all still hatch. Wish me and my wife luck.

The two that had pipped have hatched - yeh! Other egg has no pip. Guessing that it won't because when I candled it a week ago it didn't look as far developed as the other two (those green eggs are very hard to see anything to candle). Excited about the two - one looks like a Buff Orp and the other looks creamy white/yellow like her EE mom. Hope they are girls!

Congrats on the hatch. So is it just my wife or are you also standing at the incubator non stop during your hatch?​

Ten have hatched so far. Have two more trying. The rest havent piped yet but were not giving up.

Standing right next to it as much as possible - missed both of them actually hatching because we had a grad party to go to (I'm sure we missed the one by minutes because it was almost there and we couldn't wait any longer to go). It always seems like a watched egg doesn't hatch, but as soon as you leave the room they hatch out.

That sucks. I have watched two come out but I think my wife was there for all but the first. Since the first hatched while we were asleep.

Is it normal for not much movement at the start of day 20?? I don't really know about the movement because my broody is sat on the eggs!! I checked earlier but it is only 2 hours into day 20!! Also i have heard no peeps!!

That seems perfectly normal to me. Mine didnt do anything till day 22. were on day 23 and they are still hatching.

Jeeves, we are in the same boat you are. We are at day 20 or 21 depending on how you look at it. The 7th will truly be day 21. I cant wait but I am nervous that things wont go right. I guess it is just first hatch jitters!
