Hatching duck egg day 14

Very new to this … put a duck egg under my broody cochin… no veins, no movement except swirly black gunk inside from what I can tell. Have been avoiding chucking it out as it doesn’t smell, but this is a quitter right!? I did mark with pen (sharpie) and I now realise how porus shells are so could this be the reason 0 have shown signs of life?! Rookie here!

The sharpie most likely wasn’t the cause of a quitter. Could you post candling pics?
