Cannot get over how big they are. Gosh. so pretty.
They look good right now. Hard to tell with heat lamp, but what colors did you get?
Do not know how you are doing it, staying at school. I'd be out of there.
Hello! I got home maybe 45 mins ago, and they are so cute! But unfortunately, the blue swedish didn't make it. My dad said that she was doing fine, and drinking more, and then she got tired and laid down and died. I feel so bad, and I never even got to meet her. But my dad did all that he could, he sat with her for an hour and a half spoon feeding food, water, and Gro-Gel under the heat lamp. If we were to get another then Metzer's would have to send her with another duckling, so we'd have four ducks instead of three, and we're not sure we're going to do that.
On the other hand, the two that made it (Cayuga and Welsh Harlequin) are doing great! They are drinking and eating <And pooping> just fine, and waddling around. They're on my lap at all, falling asleep. They don't seem that scared, only if you come from above. Even then, they only slowly scatter. The yellow one peeps more, and normally leads the way when they're waddling. The Cayuga seems to like having her bill <Oh she just pooped> stroked. I fed them some mushed grape, which they liked. They splashed around in a small bowl of water, and peep <Oh, the yellow one pooped> constantly! The yellow one peeps more. We're thinking of calling her Ellie? Maybe.![]()

I'm so sorry about the lil blue Sweedish. But glad you have 2 healthy babies to care for. Be sure you do not feed treats more than their feed. They need all the vitamins n minerals in the feed. Enjoy them they grow so fast.
And i agree on the treats. And they will need chick grit for sure available if feeding treats already![]()
