What is the ideal humidity for duck eggs? Any differences than chicken eggs, aside from duck eggs taking 28 days to hatch?

I have read that u spray duck eggs thoroughly with water twice a week when testing fertility, note size of air space. If air space is too large, provide moisture. good luck , I will be starting my 4 Pekin duck eggs soon and adding 10 chick eggs soon after...

I have definitely had better success when I have misted my eggs during incubation. And also found better hatch rates when I hand turned eggs rather than having them standing upright in an automatic turner.

The humidity quoted sounds right. We hatched 16 duck eggs for 100% hatch rate in a still air LG for our 1st hatch. Turned twice a day by hand by my DS. We did not spray our eggs. Good luck with your hatch.

I have a King Suro by R-Com and I hatched 7 out of 9 ( one not being fertile) at 55 hum then 65 the last three days. I used the automatic turner it came with until the last three days. Then I put them upright in an egg carton. I did not spray them. When I had a Little Giant I sprayed them once a day. Good Luck!!!
