Hatching Duck eggs

My duck laid eggs, lots and i want to incubate them. But they are really dirty should i wash them first or just leave them dirty to incubate?
I know they are fertile cuz i cracked one open.

I have heard both ways. I have washed with just warm water and had a successful hatch. I had to wash off egg that had dried onto all the other eggs. Some people swear by each method.
