I have hatched two ducks that r doing good but I have one hatching and I see blood coming out! What do I do? I don't want to open the bator unless I have to! Help!

Well, if im correct, that blood is from the veins in the shell, and it could or couldnt hurt the duckling. Im really not sure.....

Sometimes the shell cuts through the blood vessels that haven't had a chance to dry yet. Most of the time the babies will struggle to get free from the shell, then stop and rest and while they are resting, they usually clot from any bleeding spots. The heat in the bator usually helps dry out the vessels in my experience. I would probably leave it. I hope for the best for your babies.

It's hatching on it's own, correct? You're not assisting, are you?
Is this a lot of blood or just SOME?
