Hatching duckling problem

I actually gave her the eggs because I couldn't break her broodiness. I was taking the eggs right when she layed them, tear up her nest, took away the nesting material and put a net over the spot she chose, but it didn't stop her. She was sitting on top of the net and would ran right back when I put her of to eat. I tried everything because I really didn't want ducklings, but at the end I felt like I have no choice, she was very skinny and weak, so I gave up. I don't think she would survive sitting on the nest much longer
Wow. That's one extreme broody.

Yes she really is. Next year she definately gets suprelorin, I'm not doing it again.
Thank you for helping, really. I will let you know how it went in the morning, fingers crossed.

The duckling is still alive!😊 It's still the same as yesterday, looks like it is resting and hetting ready for the next step. I'l leave it alone for a couple more hours and hopefully it will hatch on its own 🙂

Finally something is happening😁 It made another crack right next to the hole and is nibbling on the shell.
How fast should I expect it to hatch?

That is good news that means it is able to turn to zip.
Could still be several more hours but that is progress!
