Hatching duckling questions

I have 5 duck eggs in my incubator. We are on day 27. How do i know after they have piped internally if they are struggling 36 hours later?

Yes all 5 have. I lost one to running out of air i believe. The air cell membrane she had just enough room to get her beak through was dried to her beak.bit i noticed ahe wasnt moving anymore. So I made a small hole in the air cell and still no peeping.

So i investigated a little more and i was too late. When i candled the last 5 they look like they are all gasping for air.

I had 6 eggs in there. 5 are still alive. And completely internally piped. Should i make an air hole for the last 5 for safety.
