Hatching duckling spiting up yellow fluid

I have a duckling that piped on the narrow side of the egg about 36 hours ago. It’s been incredibly silent and just spit up A LOT of bubbly yellow liquid.

I keep cleaning up the fluid every time he spits up, I saw that he was having trouble moving and all he was able to do was make a little pip and not even break all the way through. I removed some shell and now know that, next to him piping on the wrong side of the egg, he’s also malpositioned (feet over head)

I don’t think he can get out on his own, I’m planning on watching him until he’s done absorbing the yolk and then helping him out. Do you think that’s a bad idea?

Its possible the humidity was to high and the egg didn't lose the proper amount of fluid over incubation. This would make it extremely wet inside the egg and that could be the fluid you're seeing him spit out.

I'm sorry I can't help. I've never incubated eggs, just had broodies do it. That little guy looks to be drowning.

Thank you all so much for your replies! I’m slowly but surly helping him get out. I was able to move his toes a little bit so that he can move his head more and he seems more responsive than before. Here's a recent photo:
